Box City - Homeless Awareness Night

On Saturday, October 7 hundreds of people will spend the night in cardboard boxes in the most fun fundraiser of the year--BOX CITY--all to raise money to help these families. There will be an entire Box City at Heritage Park in Valencia with live music, raffle prizes and an opportunity to hear from families who have been assisted by Family Promise.

Cost is $25/person if you pre-register. Registration includes a t-shirt, brown bag dinner, and breakfast.

What to bring:

Boxes to “build” your sleeping quarters

Duct tape & packing tape

Warm evening clothes

sleeping bag

pillow

warm PJs

toiletries

games – lawn or board

Filling out the registration form:

Virtual resident – answer no; a virtual resident is someone who is not sleeping overnight

student? Answer yes. You will then need to have a chaperone, enter either Donna McCombs, Bowe Kurowski, or Ever Mendoza

Are you a member of a congregation? Answer no, since you are not attending Box City with your congregation
